In honour of my mother
The last week was a tough one as my mother passed away.
She was a tough old bird though (her own words) and would not want people mourning her and feeling sad for too long.
So I'm launching the Local Link website as a positive way to honour her.
Mum liked to help people --- and that's the purpose of the Local Link
The Local Link will allow local communities to promote their areas, to tourists, to people thinking of moving and to those already living here.
Businesses can promote themselves, be found easier and communicate with potential customers.
The same goes for any community or sporting groups.
Hopefully it can provide tools that are useful for the members of the community themselves. To be informed on what's happening and have additional ways to network with others.
Right at this moment, I need to dedicate myself to my clients, their needs and catching up on things.
Time is limited right now, but getting started is progress and motivation to get things done.
A fair bit of work has already been done and it won't take long to get the basics in place.
Any content people contribute can be added to the websites for each town. Any ideas people have are most welcome.
If people are passionate about their area and make an effort, they can create fantastic websites for their towns
